First step: connect the battery
Warning: the short circuit of the positive and negative terminal of the battery and the wire connected to the positive and negative pole will cause the danger of fire or explosion. Please do it carefully!
Before connecting the battery, make sure that the battery voltage is higher than 6V to start the controller. If the system is 24V, it is necessary to ensure that the battery voltage is not less than 18V. The system voltage selection is automatically identified only when the first start of the controller.
When installing insurance, pay attention to the maximum distance from the battery to the maximum distance of 150mm to confirm that the connection is safe after the connection is unmistakable.
Second step: connection load
The load side of the solar controller can connect the DC operating device with rated working voltage and the rated voltage of the battery. The controller supplies the load to the load with the battery voltage.
Load the positive and negative pole to the load terminal of the controller. The voltage may exist at the end of the load, and the connection should be careful to avoid the short circuit.
An insurance device should be attached to the load positive or negative wire, and the insurance should not be connected during the installation process. Confirm the insurance after installation.
If the load is connected through the distribution panel, every load loop is individually connected, and all load currents cannot exceed the rated current of the controller.
Third step: connect the photovoltaic array
Warning: the danger of electric shock! The photovoltaic array may produce very high voltage, and the wiring is careful to prevent electric shock.
The controller can be used for 12V and 24V off grid solar components, and can also use open circuit voltage not exceeding the required maximum input voltage. In the system, the voltage of the solar component is not lower than the system voltage.
Fourth step: check the connection
Check all the connections again to see if the positive or negative poles of each terminal are correct, and whether the 6 terminals are all tightened.
Fifth step: confirmation of electricity
When the battery is supplied to the controller and the controller starts, the battery LED on the controller indicates that the lamp will light and watch to see if it is correct.
