MT3075 is a 30A 12V/24V MPPT solar charge controller, maximum module 780W for 24V system. If over 780W, it won’t burn,because our solar controller have over charging protection.In some level, even over charging current is charged into the controller, MT 3075 will do over charging protection and work as rated power,but work as full power all along. So we could say there is no limit.
Some customers said, the temperature of this 24 volt solar charge controller is high, we answered yes, because when it work,it will heat and our design the components'heating dispatching well. we put two big inductors on the PCBA board, they pass heat to the case, its temperature is high. Otherwise the controller is easy to be broken.
One cusomer ever told us a confusion, this occurs when the sky is between clouds and the battery is floating and fully charged. When the cloud comes out of the sun and the lighting goes up quickly the controller is lost and the voltage goes up very high until it reaches the 32V which is the maximum input limit of the inverter, which causes it to shut down. We guess because the inverter shut down to lead to battery voltage up to 32V suddenly. But our thought maybe not correct. We suggest the customer try disconnect inverter, then test if the battery could charge up to 32V.
Pay attention that, if your load is so big, for example 90A, you couldn’t connect 3pcs controllers in parallel connection then connect this load. because this way is not stable, once one controller doesn’t work, that will influence others directly.
